What a day could look like, for charities
A grant report is due in three weeks. The deadline is on the list, the figures come from the year's gifts and volunteers, and the month's thank-you receipts have already gone out.
How we plan to make sure it works
When it is built, we will run it for weeks in a simulated business first, then let three real businesses use it for a month. Only then will it get a price here.

Is it built?
No. Everything on this page describes what we plan to build for charities. There is nothing to try yet, and no price is set.
How much does donor management software cost?
Among the 5 we read: in US$ the lowest paid plan is US$70 a month (Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud); in GBP the lowest paid plan is GBP 33.50 a month (Beacon CRM); 3 more name no currency. We do not convert currencies, so compare within a group. Ours is not set yet.
Do I pay for each person?
We have not set a price for ours. Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud charges per user, or for extra users, on at least one plan.
Can it receipt donations?
Planned: a receipt per gift. Tax receipt rules differ, so they would be checked with the charity's adviser.
Can it track grants?
Planned: a grant with its deadline, reporting dates and what was promised.
Can it report to the board?
Planned: a one page summary of giving, grants and volunteers.
