What pushes the price up

  • 1 of the 5 offers a free plan, and 3 offer a time-limited trial.

What to know about each price

  • Tradervue: The page mentions a free plan only in passing (users can switch to it before the trial ends) and shows no limits for it. Trial length is not stated and the card is charged automatically when the trial ends.
  • Edgewonk: One yearly plan only, with no monthly option shown; the $197 is a yearly total, so no monthly figure is given.
  • TradesViz: The free Basic plan is capped at 3000 executions a month and one trading account. The FAQ says paying yearly saves 25% (3 months free), and one comparison row shows US$14.99 a month (US$179 annual) without naming a plan.
  • TradeZella: Three tiers told apart by number of accounts, AI credits and AI backtest runs, with a Pay monthly / Pay yearly toggle that says Save 25%.
  • TraderSync: Three plans for traders, by number of accounts and backtesting depth, each cheaper per month on annual billing (up to 25% off).

What to look for in traders software

Import your broker's files, keep a journal of every trade and see what your results really were after costs.

A tool for traders has to fix these:

  • Broker statements are hard to read.
  • Journals are spreadsheets.
  • Nobody knows their real win rate after costs.

Our price

We have not set a price for ours: there is nothing built to sell yet, and the price will be on the page before anyone pays. What we plan to build: traders.

Questions

About the price

What is the cheapest trading journal software?

Prices are in the currency each page names and are not ranked across currencies: 1 in A$, at A$28.99 a month; 3 with no currency named. The lowest price is often the plan with the fewest features, so check what each includes.

Why do prices differ so much?

Mostly who is counted and what is included: per user or per seat, the number of jobs or products, payment processing, and setup.

Does it tell me what to trade?

No. It would report only what your own trades did. It is not financial advice, and past results do not predict future ones.

Which brokers can it import?

Not decided: file importers would come first for the brokers people ask about.

Where do the statistics come from?

Planned: from your own imported trades, worked out inside the app.
