Each price is from the company's own pricing page on the date shown, in its own currency; we do not convert. A page we could not read is marked could not read, and a page that asks for a quote is marked quote only. Prices can differ by country.
What pushes the price up
- 1 of the 5 charges per user, or for extra users, on at least one plan, so the price grows with the team.
- 2 of the 5 show a quote request instead of a price.
- 1 of the 5 offers a free plan, and 3 offer a time-limited trial.
What to know about each price
- ServiceM8: Priced by jobs a month, not per user: every paid plan has unlimited users, and Free is 1 user.
- GorillaDesk: Prices shown are for 1 route and the page does not say how they rise with more routes. Texting costs extra ($5 a month plus prepaid credits, for example $50 for 1,000 messages), and there are no setup fees or contracts.
- Formitize: The platform is charged per user, while the pest control page prices by the day with no monthly figure.
- FieldRoutes (PestRoutes): Quote-only, priced by the number of active customers on a monthly subscription. The page says there is no free trial and offers a free demonstration.
- PestPac: Quote-only, with no prices, trial, fee or contract details on the page.
What to look for in pest controllers software
Recurring treatments, a record of every chemical used, and a report the customer can read.
A tool for pest controllers has to fix these:
- Chemical usage records are a legal duty.
- Recurring plans are scheduled by hand.
- Reports for customers are rewritten each time.
Our price
We have not set a price for ours: there is nothing built to sell yet, and the price will be on the page before anyone pays. What we plan to build: pest controllers.
Questions
About the price
What is the cheapest pest control software?
Prices are in the currency each page names and are not ranked across currencies: 1 in A$, at A$29 a month; 2 with no currency named. The lowest price is often the plan with the fewest features, so check what each includes.
Why do prices differ so much?
Mostly who is counted and what is included: per user or per seat, the number of jobs or products, payment processing, and setup.
Do I have to keep chemical records?
Rules differ by state and by licence. The software would store what you record; it does not decide what the law requires of you.
Can it create the treatment report?
Planned: a report with what was treated, what was used and photos.
How does it handle recurring plans?
Planned: a plan makes the next visit for you each period.
