Each price is from the company's own pricing page on the date shown, in its own currency; we do not convert. A page we could not read is marked could not read, and a page that asks for a quote is marked quote only. Prices can differ by country.
What pushes the price up
- 2 of the 6 we could read charge per user, or for extra users, on at least one plan, so the price grows with the team.
- 1 of the 6 we could read shows a quote request instead of a price.
- We found no free plan among the 6 we could read, and 4 offer a time-limited trial.
What to know about each price
- Jobber: Priced by plan and team size, with extra users $29 a month each, and the 1 year commitment option is a 12-month minimum billed monthly. Card payments are listed at 2.9% + 30c.
- LMN: The prices carry an asterisk for a one-time onboarding fee, and the amount is not shown. Extra licences cost extra, and no free plan or trial is mentioned, only a demo.
- GorillaDesk: Prices shown are for 1 route and the page does not say how they rise with more routes. Texting costs extra ($5 a month plus prepaid credits, for example $50 for 1,000 messages), and there are no setup fees or contracts.
- Formitize: The platform is charged per user, while the pest control page prices by the day with no monthly figure.
- NextMinute: Priced by crew size with a 3-user minimum, and the page says the main difference between plans is user numbers. Setup, training and support are listed as included, with no lock-in (month to month).
- Aspire: Quote-only: one monthly licence fee with no cap on users, with implementation and training included. Electronic payments, payroll and GPS fleet management are priced separately.
What to look for in landscapers software
Rounds by suburb, quotes with materials and labour, and before and after photos on every job.
A tool for landscapers has to fix these:
- Rounds are rebuilt every week.
- Material costs are not added to jobs.
- Customers ask for quotes by photo.
Our price
We have not set a price for ours: there is nothing built to sell yet, and the price will be on the page before anyone pays. What we plan to build: landscapers.
Questions
About the price
What is the cheapest landscaping software?
Prices are in the currency each page names and are not ranked across currencies: 1 in A$, at A$199 a month; 2 in US$, from US$29 to US$297 a month; 2 with no currency named. The lowest price is often the plan with the fewest features, so check what each includes.
Why do prices differ so much?
Mostly who is counted and what is included: per user or per seat, the number of jobs or products, payment processing, and setup.
Can it plan a route?
Round planning by suburb is planned. Optimised routes are not.
Can I quote from a photo?
A photo on the quote is planned. The quote itself is built from materials and hours.
Does it track materials?
Materials would come from the same stock engine as StockRoom, so the van's stock is counted.
