Each price is from the company's own pricing page on the date shown, in its own currency; we do not convert. A page we could not read is marked could not read, and a page that asks for a quote is marked quote only. Prices can differ by country.
What pushes the price up
- 2 of the 5 charge per user, or for extra users, on at least one plan, so the price grows with the team.
- We found no free plan among the 5, and 3 offer a time-limited trial.
What to know about each price
- Gingr: Spa is the grooming plan and the dearer plans add daycare and boarding tools. The page says setup services and data import options may vary and gives no fee, and the Stay price depends on using Gingr's integrated payments.
- MoeGo: The higher plans are priced per van (mobile) or per location (salon), so the bill grows with each van or shop. A built-in card processor is shown without a rate, and onboarding and data transfer are mentioned without a fee.
- Pawfinity: Flat rate with unlimited staff, clients, pets and appointments, and no startup or hidden fees.
- DaySmart Pet: The lower price needs payment processing through DaySmart, which the page says will match or lower your current rates.
- Time To Pet: Team plans add $16 a month for each active staff member, and the page marks Time To Pet Payments as required without saying for which plans.
What to look for in dog groomers software
Bookings with deposits, a profile for every pet and a nudge to rebook before the coat grows back.
A tool for dog groomers has to fix these:
- No-shows.
- Pet notes are on paper.
- Rebooking is by memory.
Our price
We have not set a price for ours: there is nothing built to sell yet, and the price will be on the page before anyone pays. What we plan to build: dog groomers.
Questions
About the price
What is the cheapest dog grooming software?
Prices are in the currency each page names and are not ranked across currencies: 2 in US$, from US$25 to US$49 a month; 3 with no currency named. The lowest price is often the plan with the fewest features, so check what each includes.
Why do prices differ so much?
Mostly who is counted and what is included: per user or per seat, the number of jobs or products, payment processing, and setup.
How does it cut no-shows?
Planned: a deposit at booking and a reminder the day before.
Can it keep vaccination dates?
Planned: dates on the pet profile, with a check at booking.
Can I sell products at the same time?
Planned: through the stock engine: sell a shampoo and the count drops.
